Eyelash Extensions are a revolutionary product that will provide you with longer, thicker, luxurious, and natural looking eyelashes without using mascara or eyeliner.  Semi-permanent synthetic and/or authentic mink fur extensions are individually applied with surgical grade adhesive directly to each of your own natural lashes.  When applied with the precision of the "single extension to single natural lash" technique, eyelash extensions will not harm your own natural lashes.  

Some clients simply want to eliminate mascara, eyelash curlers, and eyeliner from their daily routine.  Some clients want to add length, curl, or volume to their existing lashes.  Some clients want all three!  Many woman say it's the convenience factor that keeps them coming back for more.  Eyelash extensions look great first thing in the morning, saving valuable time in the morning.  You'll never need to apply mascara before leaving your house again!  Imagine looking great in the heat, after swimming or sports, and during all of the activites that you do!  Warning...the way you feel with eyelash extensions can be very addictive :)

Eyelash extensions can last up to 60 days, depending on the life cycle of the individual's natural eyelashes.  Natural eyelashes grow and shed every 30-90 days, making it necessary to schedule maintenance fills every 2-5 weeks.  Time between fills depends mostly on your natural lashes' life cycle, each client's life style (heavy makeup or excercise,) and how well you follow the aftercare maintenance directions.  We will consult with each client during their first fill appointment to discuss how frequently they should schedule maintenance fills to achieve the fullness they desire.

The process is completely safe and painless.  In fact, most clients consider it extremely relaxing and fall asleep during the process.  The treatment room is much like the room at a spa, calming music, aromatherapy, and a soft comfy bed to lie on during application.  The appointment is always about the client.  Some women want to talk and others want to rest...it's really up to you!  The first full set for new clients takes about 2.5 hours and will begin with you filling out your client form to make sure there are no contraindications and a client consultation to make sure you get the look you desire.  A lash health assesment is done at the beginning of each appointment.  Before photos are kept to track your lash health, which we will discuss during your appointment.

INITIAL 24 - 48 HRS

• Avoid getting lashes wet for 24 hours following your lash extension application.

• Avoid excessive steam and heat from hot showers, saunas, sweating, tanning beds, etc. for 48 hours.

EVERYDAY THINGS TO REMEMBER

• Avoid all oil-based skin care, mascara, makeup and cleansing products on and around eyes.  Oil will weaken the adhesive bond and you will lose lashes prematurely.

• Try not to touch your lashes too much. The natural oils and debris on our fingertips will weaken the bond.

• Gently brush your lashes from the middle to the ends with your dry mascara wand every morning.  There is no need to brush all the way from the root.  This can snag the extensions.  Brushing will remove any lashes that may have shed and gotten caught in the other extensions.

• Mechanical curlers will permanently crease the extensions and will damage your natural lashes. If you need more curl, use a heated curler. (These are available at Sephora, Ulta, Sally’s Beauty Supply.)

• Only mascara made for eyelash extensions should be used on the lashes.  Apply lightly to tips of extensions and use your dry mascara wand to comb through and separate.  No Waterproof Mascara!!!

• Use only gel, liquid, or shadow eyeliner on your top lid.  No pencil liners.

• Inform your technicians of your extensions when receiving other services such as facials, massage, etc.

• The natural life cycle is 30-90 days.  When one lash falls out, another is growing in.  Therefore, you will need regular fills every 2-5 weeks to keep your lashes looking beautiful and full!  We can discuss your personal maintenance needs and preferences during your appointment.
